As a part of the permitting process for oil and gas development plans (OGDP), ECMC requires operators to include detailed information about the proposed site, planned operations and reclamation. Additionally, operators are required to submit reports upon completion of an operation. 

ECMC tracks all information in datasets, which are available for download. Information is maintained as a public service, for use by regulators, legislators, operators, researchers and the general public.
