Following five days of public comment, testimony, and deliberations at public hearings, this afternoon the Commission stayed Docket No. 241200313 for the Crestone Peak Resources Operating LLC State Sunlight/Long Oil and Gas Development Plan (OGDP) in Arapahoe County. The vote to stay passed 4-1.
At a hearing, ‘stay’ means to postpone a proceeding indefinitely. A ‘stay’ temporarily halts or suspends a legal proceeding until a condition is met.
In this case, the Commission directed the applicant to perform additional work –- namely an alternative location analysis of the proposed oil and gas well pad location.
