ECMC Commission & Staff visit to engage and listen to local communities
Denver, CO (Apr. 04, 2024) - The Colorado Energy and Carbon Management Commission (ECMC) will host a community listening session in Glenwood Springs, on Thursday, April 18. The meeting will provide community members with an opportunity to meet ECMC Staff and Commissioners, learn more about the organization, Western Slope oil and gas activity, how to be involved and provide feedback.
“We are looking forward to returning to the Western Slope to meet members of the community and hear their thoughts and concerns about energy development in western Colorado,” said ECMC Commissioner Karin McGowan. “We are here to listen, answer questions and continue to build relationships with community members as we work to achieve our mission to regulate energy development in a manner that protects public health, safety, welfare, the environment and wildlife resources.”
