Local Public Hearing will be held at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds, May 16

Denver, CO (May 07, 2024) - The Colorado Energy & Carbon Management Commission (ECMC) will hold a Local Public Hearing to hear from the community regarding the Lowry Ranch Comprehensive Area Plan (CAP) on Thursday, May 16, at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds & Event Center. This hearing is for local community members to deliver public comment on the Lowry Ranch CAP application.

Event Information

  • When: 5to 8 pm, Thursday, May 16, 2024. Doors will open at 4 pm.
  • Who: ECMC Commission is hosting the event for the local community
  • Where: Arapahoe County Fairgrounds & Event Center, Main Hall, 25690 E. Quincy Ave., Aurora 
  • What: The Commission will take local public comment, in-person
  • Public comment sign up: to give local public comment, please use the online form which can also be found at ecmc.colorado.gov
  • Services: Spanish interpretation and childcare will be provided

Members of the public that wish to give comment but can not attend on May 16, are encouraged to provide written comments to ECMC by using the e-Filing system for the Docket Number 221000282. The Local Public Hearing is one of several opportunities that members of the public have to provide feedback to the Commission on the proposed Lowry CAP application. In June, as part of the Commission hearing on the Lowry CAP, members of the public will have another opportunity to provide comment.
