The Marginal Well Plugging Application is now open. ECMC has two funding sources for operators to volunteer marginal wells for plugging reimbursement, the Methane Emissions Reduction Program (MERP) and the Enterprise Marginal Well Plugging (EMWP). The application, which is for both the MERP & EMWP, and the application guidance document are available HERE. The application closes on May 20, 2025.
