The State Oil and Gas Regulatory Exchange (SOGRE) Peer Assessment 2019 Well Integrity Report is now available. The COGCC will begin reviewing the report for future actions. The report is available HERE.

The Forms 2 and 2A have been updated with the additional local government information required by § 34-60-106(1)(f)(I)(A), C.R.S.  Click HERE for instructions regarding the new data fields on the forms.  These instructions and the associated data submittal options are also posted on the form instructions pages for the Form 2 and the Form 2A.

Pursuant to SB 19-181, the COGCC Director has released Objective Criteria and associated guidance.

SRC has withdrawn and removed approximately 160 acres from the proposed CDP lands. The withdrawn land is in the southeast 1/4 of Section 6, Township 4 North, Range 65 West, south of La Salle in unincorporated Weld County.

Prospect Energy has withdrawn their Form 2 (Doc # 401952695) for the recompletion of their existing MSSU # 30-10 Well (API # 069-06255). The Form 2 is no longer available for public comment.

COGCC Acting Director Robbins has provided this MEMO as guidance to staff for flagging Form 2 and Form 2A applications for additional review by the Director as part of the technical review. The process is described in this PRESENTATION given to the Commission on March 11, 2019.

SRC Energy, Inc. recently filed an application with the COGCC to submit a Comprehensive Drilling Plan (CDP) under Rule 216. The CDP will encompass approximately 23,677 acres south of Greeley. The proposed CDP area is in portions of unincorporated Weld County, and portions of the cities of Evans, La Salle, Miliken and Gilcrest. SRC Energy intends to submit the draft CDP package to the COGCC in March 2019.  Click HERE to view the site.

The Rules adopted by the COGCC in December 2018 amending setbacks related to schools became effective 20 days after their publishing in the Secretary of State's register. As of February 14, 2019 all Form 2 and Form 2A applications submitted to the COGCC must be in compliance with the amended Rules.
