The State Oil and Gas Regulatory Exchange (SOGRE) Peer Assessment 2019 Idle Well Regulation Report is now available. The COGCC will begin reviewing the report for future actions. The report is available HERE.
COGCC has been made aware of a faulty piece of equipment installed on wellsite engines in the western U.S. The faulty valve configuration has the potential to release fuel gas into a hazardous atmosphere and could result in explosion or fire. Please read this bulletin for details and corrective actions necessary.

To ensure that staff’s review and processing of Form 2As and Form 2s is coordinated with the correct Drilling and Spacing Unit (DSU) application, these forms now have a data field for the Docket Number of the pending hearing application.
