UPDATES to Correct Form 3s in DRAFT

On October 3rd an update was applied to all Form 3s in Draft Status. This corrected the Financial Assurance Plan Option determination within the Form 3s. Operators will need to repeat their selection in the "Plan Options" section and their work in the "Financial Assurance for Wells" section.

PDC Energy Guanella Comprehensive Area Plan (CAP) Application

The PDC Guanella CAP application and supporting materials were posted to the COGCC website on August 2, 2022. The proposed CAP development encompasses approximately 33,427 mineral acres with 22 planned Oil and Gas Locations and an estimated 466 new horizontal wells, within parts of Weld County, the City of Greeley, and the City of Evans. The CAP documents and links to submit public comments are available HERE. Comments must be submitted by October 1, 2022.

BLM Colorado Statewide Big Game Amendment Announcement

BLM Colorado is initiating a resource management plan amendment / environmental impact statement to consider an amendment to land use plans for the conservation of big game corridors and important habitat areas. They will be analyzing alternatives for planning-scale oil and gas management prescriptions for the conservation of big game. The Crestone Box Elder CAP application and supporting materials were posted to the COGCC website on June 2, 2022. The proposed CAP development encompasses approximately 37,520 mineral acres with approximately 20 planned Oil and Gas Locations and an estimated 151 new horizontal wells, all within the City of Aurora.
