New Geothermal and Hydrogen Reports available on the ECMC website
ECMC has published two new studies, one providing foundational information to support the development of geothermal resources throughout the state and one investigating hydrogen infrastructure, transportation and storage. ECMC Cumulative Impacts & Enhanced Systems & Practices Rulemaking Notice & Party Sign-up
On June 14, 2024 ECMC filed a notice of rulemaking regarding the Commission's Cumulative Impacts & Enhanced Systems & Practices rulemaking Docket No. 240600145 that is to begin September 3, 2024. Crestone Peak Lowry Comprehensive Area Plan Hearing Continued
The Crestone Peak Lowry CAP Docket No. 221000282 hearing has been continued to July 18-19, 2024. The Commission will hold a public comment session related to the CAP on July 15, 2024. The Continuance and Case Management Order may be viewed HERE.
Crestone Peak Resources Lowry Ranch Comprehensive Area Plan (CAP) Application
The Crestone Lowry Ranch CAP application and supporting materials were posted to the ECMC website on February 23, 2024. The proposed CAP development encompasses approximately 32,000 mineral acres with 10 planned Oil and Gas Locations and an estimated 166 new horizontal wells, within parts of Arapahoe County. The CAP documents and links to submit public comments are available HERE. Comments must be submitted by May 3, 2024.
