COGCC Adopts SB 19-181 Mission Change Rules

The Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC) has completed the rulemaking hearings addressing Mission Change, Alternative Location Analysis, Cumulative Impacts, and Compensatory Mitigation for Wildlife, as required by SB 19-181. Governor Polis Announces COGCC Appointments

Governor Polis today announced new appointments to the Colorado Oil and GasConservation Commission. As part of the landmark SB 19-181, the commission is transitioning from 9 appointees to a professional 5-member commission on July 1, 2020. 800/900/1200 Series Rulemaking

On June 19th, the COGCC submitted to the CO Secretary of State notice of the Commission's 800/900/1200 Series Rulemaking. This Rulemaking is part of the Commission's SB 19-181 Mission Change Rulemaking. The proposed rules can be viewed here.
